What we collect, how we use it, and how long anything is kept.

The short version

We never use your audio or video files to train anything. When you download a processed file, we record its file name and length so we can charge the right number of minutes. That is the only information about your recordings we ever receive.

Your files

  • Files you open. So you can reload the page or come back later, a copy of each file is kept together with its name, size and type. It is deleted automatically 24 hours after you open the file. You can remove it sooner by clearing this site's data in your browser.
  • Exports. Processed files are kept the same way and are cleaned up after 24 hours as well.

What we collect

  1. Account information. Your name, email address and sign-in details when you create an account, or the profile your sign-in provider shares (for example Google).
  2. Download records. For each file you download while signed in: its name, its length, the number of minutes charged and when. You can see this list on your account's My files page.
  3. Payments. Orders, subscriptions and minute balances. Card and wallet details are handled by our payment providers; we never see or store full card numbers.
  4. Basic usage data. Pages visited and product events such as reaching the paywall, used to improve the service. If analytics are enabled, they follow the cookie settings shown on the site.

How we use it

  • To run your account, charge minutes and show your history.
  • To process payments and send receipts or important notices.
  • To answer support requests and prevent fraud or abuse.

Sharing

We do not sell personal information. We share it only with providers that help us run the service (hosting, payments, email), under confidentiality obligations, or when the law requires it.

Retention

Download records and payment records are kept while your account exists, and longer where tax law requires. Files you open are removed after 24 hours as described above.

Your rights

You can access, correct or delete your account information at any time. To delete your account and its records, contact us from the email address on the account.

Changes

If this policy changes in a meaningful way, we will update the date above and, where appropriate, let you know by email.
